Prayers for a Safe Return Home!!!

Father God, I trust you to bring me home safely after each departure to wherever I arrive. My home is my safety net, yet I continue to leave each day on the strength of your protection. You shield me from any evil forces attempting to kill or destroy me. Your perfect joy fills me to never know earth’s shadows approaching me.

I graciously thank you for the blessings of arriving home each time. It’s an immense blessing at hand that I often overlook and undervalue. My heart rejoices for all that you undeservingly do for me. My heart trusts you for all my days ahead. You are my everlasting light as I work in becoming a good shepherd for you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, you command your angels to watch over me. I am blessed with a Father who protects me and sends out his highest command to guard my being. In a world filled with tragic losses, I am comforted by your word acknowledging my security of protection. My firm hope is in Jesus’ land becoming a saving grace for me.

I have encountered many times leaving my home and the world weighing heavy on its wickedness. You are the only reason I have remained safe and able to come home to my loved ones. Thank you for keeping me guarded, even when I was unaware of your protection. Fill me with your holy family to know each member as you have written. I am blessed by the highest. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dear God, only you know the dangers that the roads face. You are overcast secondly, and my truck driver husband is out there hourly. He approaches risk while your angels remain encamped around his eighteen-wheeler. He continues praying daily to return home to me and the kids.

Thank you, Father, for bringing my husband home each day after long hours of travel. He cannot avoid danger and is forced to head toward his fellow drivers on the road. Please continue to have him covered by your promise of security. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, return my brother home safely from an out-of-town work trip. He faces many evil ones that have outcasted road rage. The risks that come with other outbursts behind the wheel are scary. I rebuke these encounters and ask that you bring peace and comfort among those who feel out of control from their agitated flesh.

I do not ask that you take anyone out of this world but pour your patience and sanity among us all. May each driver get home safely to their families and every person tame their anger. In a world with enough hazards, we need your love to overpower our sinful flesh to drive recklessly, which causes loss for so many others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Almighty God, my husband rises early in the morning. He leaves our home before my eyes attempt to see the slightest crack of daylight. When arriving at each stop, I ask that you have your hand on his heart and at the wheel of his truck.

May he hear your voice as he speaks out his short morning prayers for the day? He remains alone in the truck, and you will fill it with your holy spirit. Let him be touched in the early morning and moved until his day’s work ends. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
