True Stories That Are Scarier Than Fiction

Some people find real-life events more chilling than anything in movies or books. While some strange experiences can be explained, others make you question what’s real. Get ready—these true stories are sure to surprise and unsettle you.

The Story:
One night, while I was in bed, I felt something touch my foot. It was a tiny silver charm—a little angel. I was confused but kept it in my wallet for good luck. Twelve years later, while living in another country, I went to a work party. A girl I was meeting for the first time looked at me and said I seemed very familiar. I told her she must be mistaken because I had never seen her before and had moved to France from the U.S. about a year ago.

As we talked, I noticed her necklace had a charm just like mine, but it was gold. I quickly checked my wallet, but my charm was gone. I felt a chill and tried to find her again, but she had vanished. I never saw her again. I described her to my coworkers, hoping to find out who she was, but no one remembered seeing her at the party. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.
