A Resilient Widowed Jewish Woman

A widowed Jewish lady, still in very good shape, was sunbathing on a totally deserted beach near Tel Aviv. She looked up and noticed that a man her age, also in good shape, had walked up, placed his blanket on the sand, and began reading a book.
Smiling, she decided to strike up a conversation.
“Hello there. Enjoying the day?” she asked.

“Yes,” he replied. “The sun and the sea are wonderful. And you?”
“Perfect,” she said. “But tell me, do you come here often?”
“Only when the weather’s nice,” he said.

After a brief pause, she leaned closer and whispered,
“Tell me something — are you circumcised?”

He looked up from his book and said,
“No, I’m not.”
She smiled and said,
“Well, then, you’re not missing much!”
