Trump Does It Again: The President to Donate His Entire Salary

President Donald J. Trump has once again pledged to donate 100% of his presidential salary, reaffirming his promise to serve the American people—not profit from office. Speaking recently, Trump contrasted his approach with that of career politicians, saying he didn’t come to Washington to get rich, but to return power to the people.

“I will donate my salary again,” he stated, noting that few—if any—presidents besides George Washington have done the same. Since his first term, Trump has donated his $400,000 annual salary to agencies like Health, Homeland Security, and Agriculture. His continued pledge highlights his ongoing stance against political elitism and personal gain in government.

While many politicians leave office wealthier, Trump emphasized sacrifice and service, drawing a sharp contrast between his leadership style and that of the traditional political class.
