Married Man Sends His Mistress Abroad

An Italian woman told her wealthy, married lover she was pregnant. To keep the affair secret, he paid her to move to Italy and raise the child quietly, promising child support until the child turned 18. She asked how to inform him when the baby was born. He said to send a postcard with just the word “Spaghetti.”

Months later, his wife handed him a postcard from Italy. He turned pale and fainted after reading: “Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti. One without meatballs, two with. Please send extra sauce.”
