Jessica McLaughlin, a 24-year-old employee at a 7-Eleven in Hollywood, tragically passed away following a violent incident at her workplace. According to police, a dispute broke out between two women during Jessica’s shift on June 24, 2025. The altercation reportedly turned physical, leaving Jessica unconscious. She was placed on life support but was later declared brain dead. Her family made the heartbreaking decision to let her go.

Jessica’s relatives say the conflict involved her store’s assistant manager, who they claim had bullied her in the past. Witnesses reported seeing Jessica pinned to the ground, unable to breathe, before the suspect allegedly tried to delete store footage and fled the scene. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they are actively investigating and have not yet made any arrests. A company spokesperson stated that the suspect has since been terminated and that 7-Eleven is cooperating fully with authorities.
