She moved down the aisles, he noticed something unusual. An elderly lady seemed to be following him. She wasn’t rushing or being overly obvious, but there she was, keeping her distance but never too far behind. At first, the young man thought it might just be a coincidence. She stopped when he stopped, and whenever he reached for an item, she’d do the same. She didn’t seem to be interested in his groceries, but she kept looking at him. He felt a little uncomfortable, but he dismissed the thought and went about his shopping.
