After the crash of a passenger plane in Kazakhstan, which was traveling from Baku to Grozny with 72 people, information about the cause of the accident appeared.
Later, information appeared that the plane was diverted to the airfield in Makhachkala due to thick fog, but the accident occurred just three kilometers from Aktu airfield.
According to the initial information, the number of survivors is greater than 10. The first injured are applied to the hospital.
The Consul General of Azerbaijan in Actu, Aykan Suleymanli, said that for now “they can’t say anything”.
“Our employees are there and I’m on the road. We cannot say anything for sure. We don’t know anything at the moment”, said he.
