Horse gives birth to rare foal – you won’t believe the markings on her face

Coconut the horse was born in Melbourne, Florida and Scott and Jackie Nelson couldn’t believe it when they saw her.

At just two days old they had to capture her beauty to show the rest of the world and now over 3 million people have marveled at how rare she is.

The couple, who breed horses at a ranch called Down Under Colour, filmed her outside for the first time at just two years old.

In a description on YouTube they said Coconut’s markings are extremely rare and she is also known as a War Horse. In Native American culture this horse was considered sacred and would be ridden by the chief or the medicine man, a traditional leader and spiritual leader.

To be a War Horse they must have a shield on their chest and one blue eye with liner around the eye.

“This eye in Indian Mythology is called a Sky Eye. If the Chief or Medicine Man dies in battle then this one blue sky eye will carry their spirits to their Gods. So that is why she is soooo special,” the YouTube description reads.
