FAREWELL TO A BELOVED SOAP OPERA STAR

We mourn the passing of Jacklyn Zeman, known for her role as Bobbie Spencer on “General Hospital.” Her positive spirit, both on and off the show, left a lasting impact. Executive producer Frank Valentini expressed his condolences, assuring that her positivity will endure within the “General Hospital” family.

Jacklyn’s battle with cancer ended tragically, but she leaves behind a remarkable legacy, with over 40 years as Nurse Spencer and a Daytime Emmy nomination.

Born in New Jersey, Jacklyn’s acting journey began in high school, and she studied dance at New York University. Before her iconic role, she even worked as a Playboy Bunny.

Her co-stars have shared heartfelt tributes, with Kathleen Gati highlighting her kindness and Parry Shen calling her an absolute legend.

Jacklyn Zeman’s memory will live on in the hearts of her loyal fans. Our deepest condolences go to her daughters, Cassidy and Lacey, as well as her loved ones. Her kind heart and radiant spirit will be remembered for years to come.
