Wangwang is getting older and older, but she will never forget this manager!

Wangwang previously worked at the Xichuan Police Department as a sniffer dog at security checkpoints in central China’s Henan province, the Daily Star reported.

After retiring, Wangwang was adopted into a new home, but that meant the dog had to say goodbye to her handler.

“Police dogs are usually well fed at the training center, but when our officers are unable to take the time to play or exercise with the rested dogs,” Xichuan police said. When we retire, we have to find them a new home.

When Wangwang was reunited with his former manager, the dog collapsed and cried.

Xichuan police shared a video of the reunion on Douyin, a Chinese social media platform like TikTok.

In the video, Wangwang runs up to her former manager and immediately rolls over on her back enjoying some friendly belly rubs. Meanwhile, Wangwang’s eyes filled with tears.

“The dog is getting better. Dogs are really loyal companions, treat her well! ‘ commented one reader.

“Wangwang’s hair has turned white but she is well fed, she is gaining weight,” the post reads.

“You can tell how much Wangwang misses her manager. You can understand when the dog’s belly puffs up,” another wrote.
