Just as she was leaving the store, a man called out, “Goodbye, Mum.” The elderly woman said goodbye to him with a friendly wave and a warm smile.
Content with the small act of brightening someone’s day, he proceeded to pay for his purchases. “That will be £121.85,” the assistant stated. “Why is the price so high? I purchased only three items!” The clerk responded, “Yes, but your Mother mentioned that you would also be covering her expenses.”
