Upon arriving at the scene, the police discovered a lifeless individual in the hallway. Shortly after their arrival, they heard another gunshot from a different part of the house. Thoroughly searching the residence, officers found two more victims, bringing the total number of fatalities to three—Jack, 69, Terry, 68, and their 11-year-old grandson, Dalton.

It has been determined that the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide. While Terry is considered a suspect, the motive behind her actions remains unclear. The identity of the person who made the initial distress call is also unknown, as confirmed by Muskogee Police Department’s PIO, Lynn Hamlin.
