Barron Trump Mentioned in Draft Call as War Debate Intensifies

A website calling for Barron Trump to be drafted into the U.S. military has appeared online as tensions rise between the United States and Iran following recent airstrikes. The site surfaced after the U.S. and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran on February 28, an operation that reportedly killed at least 555 people, according to Al Jazeera. Among the dead was Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. President Donald Trump said the strikes were intended to ensure Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.

Iran quickly responded by launching missile attacks targeting U.S. assets and allies in the region, including Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. As the conflict continues to escalate, concerns about a wider global war have begun circulating. Amid the growing tensions, a satirical website called DraftBarronTrump.com appeared online on the same day the strikes began.

The site calls for Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, 19, to join the U.S. military, though its tone suggests it is meant as satire rather than a serious campaign. Visitors to the site are greeted with exaggerated messages praising the Trump family’s strength and suggesting Barron is “ready to defend the country his father commands.” The site also features fake testimonials attributed to Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump.

While the website appears to be a political satire, it reflects a broader online debate about military service and leadership during wartime. Under current U.S. law, most male citizens and immigrants aged 18 to 25 must register with the Selective Service in case a draft is ever reinstated. However, the United States has not used a military draft since 1973. Barron Trump, the youngest of Donald Trump’s five children, currently attends college. The White House has not commented on the website.
