Social media users quickly dubbed him ‘Commander in Sleep’ and ‘Dozy Don’ due to his drooping eyes and apparent fatigue.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt defended Trump, stating he was attentive and running the meeting. This is the third recent incident where Trump was accused of sleeping during meetings. Earlier, he criticized journalists for questioning his health, claiming he is “sharper than 25 years ago,” despite ongoing scrutiny.
