A Woman Cuts Her Hair for the First Time in 25 Years, and It Meant Everything

We all feel the urge to change our look from time to time. Whether it’s a new outfit or a fresh haircut, a small change can feel refreshing and energizing. Rosa’s story first made headlines in 2015, yet her transformation still amazes people today.

For more than two decades, she let her hair grow untouched — so long, in fact, that she could accidentally step on it while walking. Although her husband gently encouraged her to consider a haircut over the years, Rosa hesitated. Her hair had become part of who she was.
