She appeared in 26 episodes of Dallas and became fondly remembered by Full House fans as Claire Tanner, the grandmother of the Tanner family, appearing in two episodes. Hirson also played a significant role on the ABC sitcom Ellen from 1994 to 1998, portraying Lois Morgan, the title character’s mother.
