Everyone’s Talking About This Creamy Paprika Steak

This Creamy Paprika Steak is the perfect blend of smoky paprika, tender beef, and a rich, velvety sauce. It’s a simple dish that brings comforting warmth and big flavor without complicated steps. Inspired by Central and Eastern European cooking—especially Hungarian dishes like goulash and paprikash—it adds a modern creamy twist to classic paprika-based flavors. Paprika has long symbolized home-cooked comfort, and this dish continues that tradition with a bold yet soothing sauce that pairs beautifully with steak. It’s an ideal meal for sharing, offering both richness and coziness.

Ingredients:
Steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank), olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, butter, onion, garlic, smoked or sweet paprika, chili flakes (optional), heavy cream, beef broth, tomato paste, and parsley. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. Optional add-ins include mushrooms, spinach, white wine, or hot paprika.

Instructions:
Season sliced steak and sear it in batches. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter, then add paprika and tomato paste. Pour in broth, simmer briefly, then stir in heavy cream.

Add the steak back, simmer a few minutes, and serve topped with parsley. This dish offers creamy comfort, smoky depth, and tender beef—all in an easy weeknight recipe that feels restaurant-worthy. Serve with your favorite sides for a complete, satisfying meal.
