Caught on camera: sisters behind Charlie Kirk memorial vandalism now asking strangers for help

Two Arkansas sisters caught on video destroying a memorial for Charlie Kirk are asking the public to fund their legal defense after losing jobs and facing backlash. The incident occurred outside the Benton County Courthouse, where mourners had left candles and notes for the assassinated Turning Point USA founder. In a viral clip, 23-year-old Kerri Rollo shouted “F–k Charlie Kirk,” flipped off the camera, and declared, “Charlie Kirk died as he lived, promoting violence,” before leaving with her sister Kaylee.

Both were arrested September 17 and charged with first-degree criminal mischief. They were released on a combined $22,500 bond. “Everyone has freedom of expression,” said Justice of the Peace Joseph Bollinger, “but when you trample on a memorial, you trample on human grief.”

The fallout was swift. Kerri was fired from her restaurant job, and Kaylee’s boyfriend ended their relationship, asking her to move out. His mother, Lacy Christian, said she wouldn’t house anyone who celebrated a murder or destroyed a memorial.

Facing mounting legal bills, the sisters launched a GoFundMe seeking $18,000. Kaylee said they were being “doxxed” and punished for free speech. While many donors used the platform to criticize them, the campaign has already raised nearly $15,000.

Kirk, a father of two, was assassinated September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University. For his supporters, the vandalism only deepened the pain of loss.
