I Recently Spent $6,500 on a Bull — What Happened Next Surprised Me

A few months ago, I purchased a registered Black Angus bull for $6,500. He looked strong and healthy, exactly what I wanted to improve my herd. But to my surprise, after settling into the pasture, he seemed more interested in peacefully grazing than doing much else. For days, I watched him wondering if I had made a very expensive mistake.

Concerned, I called the veterinarian to come take a look. After a full check-up, the vet assured me the bull was in excellent condition — just young and not fully confident yet. To give him a boost, the vet provided a daily supplement designed to support his energy and overall vitality. I decided to follow the advice and hoped for the best.

The difference was remarkable. Within a couple of days, my quiet bull suddenly became more active and attentive. His energy levels soared, and before long he was moving confidently around the pasture, proving he was up to the job after all. The transformation was almost too quick to believe.

Now, the bull has become one of the most valuable members of the farm. Watching him thrive reminded me of an important lesson: sometimes, all it takes is a little patience — and the right kind of support — for potential to shine through. What first seemed like a poor investment turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.
