“Major Security Arrest Tightens Net Around Presidential Protection”

An Indiana woman has been arrested after allegedly threatening President Donald Trump, in what federal authorities describe as part of growing security risks. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced the case in a social media video, warning that threats against the president will face “swift and unwavering prosecution.” The suspect, 50-year-old Nathalie Rose Jones, reportedly escalated from online insults to explicit threats, traveling from Indiana to Washington, D.C.

Investigators tracked her Facebook and Instagram posts, which called for violence and Trump’s removal. During an August 15 Secret Service interview, Jones admitted hating Trump, calling him a “terrorist” and “Nazi,” and claiming she had a weapon. Her participation in a White House protest the next day further alarmed officials.

Jones now faces federal charges of transmitting threats across state lines and threatening the president—serious crimes that could carry heavy penalties. Authorities say the prosecution sends a clear message: dissent is protected, but violent threats will trigger decisive federal action.
