17-Year-Old Pheobe Bishop Missing After Failing to Board Scheduled Flight

Pheobe Bishop, 17, has been missing since May 15, 2025, and Queensland police are stepping up their search for her. Pheobe was last seen at Bundaberg Airport at 8:30 a.m., but she never checked in or boarded her flight. She was carrying luggage and was dressed in grey sweatpants and a green tank top.

Pheobe, who is around 180 cm tall and has long red hair, abruptly and strangely vanishes. A grey Hyundai ix35 connected to her last known movements has been seized by police, who have deemed her case suspicious. The car and her Gin Gin home were identified as the two crime scenes. Anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage from May 15–18 in the vicinity of Bundaberg or Gin Gin is urged to come forward by the authorities. The Good Night Scrub National Park area is now included in the search, which also involves specialized police units. A few items that may have been related to Pheobe have been found and are undergoing forensic examination.
