2) My Neighbor Kept Knocking Over My Trash Bins, So I Taught Him a Lesson He’d Never Forget

Step 1: The Fake HOA Letter
I typed up an official-looking notice warning of fines and surveillance for tampering with trash bins. I slipped it into his mailbox and waited.

The next day, I watched him read it. He froze. Looked around nervously. The bait had landed.

Step 2: The Fake Camera
I mounted an old webcam above my garage and pretended it was recording everything. I even “adjusted” it while holding a clipboard in full view of Mr. Wilson.

He stopped touching my bins immediately.

Step 3: His Own Medicine
I placed my bins on his side of the street. He came out, saw them, hesitated… and walked away. Lesson learned.

The Aftermath
From then on, no more knocked-over bins. A week later, he even pulled mine up the driveway after pickup. No apology needed—I’d already won.

Moral of the Story:
Petty behavior meets creative revenge. Sometimes, the best response isn’t confrontation—it’s strategy. And thanks to a little trickery, my trash bins (and my peace) are finally safe.
