A tragic incident occurred during a high school track meet in Frisco on April 3, when 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony fatally injured Austin Metcalf, a student from Memorial High School. The altercation began when Karmelo, seeking shelter from the rain under a tent, was asked to move by Austin,

leading to a confrontation. According to reports, Karmelo admitted to the incident and claimed he acted in self-defense after the altercation escalated.Austin’s family has been deeply affected by the loss of their son.
