The donation will fund evacuation centers, food distribution, and psychological support for displaced families. Japan’s support reflects the reciprocal relationship between the two regions, as Southern California previously helped Japan after the 2011 Tōhoku disaster. Local healthcare workers, volunteers, and celebrities have also played crucial roles in the recovery process, highlighting the power of global and community support during crises.
