The Washington Redskins have uncanceled themselves!!

Washington Commanders to Restore Redskins Logo

In a significant move, Washington Commanders managing partner Josh Harris and the ownership group announced they will restore the Redskins logo featuring a Blackfoot chief, reversing its 2020 removal.

The logo was initially dropped amid heightened racial sensitivity following George Floyd’s death. Since then, the team and media outlets censored the logo in archival footage and merchandise, drawing criticism.

Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) led efforts to bring back the emblem, criticizing its removal as “canceling Native American culture” and an example of “woke gone wrong.” The decision marks a pushback against the excesses of the DEI movement.
