Paris Jackson Shares Rare Family Photo with Late Father Michael Jackson on Father’s Day

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the legendary Michael Jackson, took to social media on Father’s Day to share a rare family photo featuring her late father. The King of Pop passed away 14 years ago, leaving a void in the entertainment industry that can never be filled.

Despite the worldwide mourning of MJ’s millions of fans, his three children, Paris, Prince, and Bigi Jackson, had to grow up without their iconic father. However, in recent years, they have been more visible, thanks to their own pursuits and the enduring fame of their father.

Paris, now an adult and carving her own path in the modeling, film, TV, and music industries, has garnered significant attention. On Sunday, she posted a throwback photo on Instagram, showcasing herself and her siblings, Prince and Bigi, alongside their beloved father. The timing of the post did not go unnoticed by fans, as it coincided with the approaching 14th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s passing on June 25.

Captioning the Instagram photo with “Happy fathers day,” Paris shared a heartwarming glimpse into a family moment captured in a kitchen. The picture depicts MJ holding his youngest son, Bigi, while Paris and Prince appear to be engaged in baking a cake. Over the years, MJ’s children have been reserved about discussing their father in public. However, in 2021, Paris provided a rare insight into what it was like being raised by one of pop music’s greatest icons.

Reflecting on her childhood, Paris expressed gratitude for her “privileged” upbringing, emphasizing her father’s efforts to expose them to diverse experiences and education. Their journeys were not confined to luxury accommodations but encompassed visits to third world countries, offering a broader perspective on life. Paris also highlighted her father’s teachings on the importance of hard work and not taking things for granted. From a young age, she learned that earning rewards was essential and that entitlement had no place in their lives.

“We had to read five books if we wanted five toys from FAO Schwarz or Toys ‘R’ Us,” Paris explained. “It’s earning it, not just being entitled to certain things or thinking ‘oh I got this.’ It’s like working for it, working hard for it, it’s something else entirely, it’s an accomplishment.”

As fans reminisce about Michael Jackson’s music and impact, it’s clear that his influence extends beyond his artistic achievements. Paris Jackson’s Father’s Day post is a poignant reminder of the bond they shared and the values instilled in her.
