When rescuers found Hidey wandering the streets, they immediately realized she needed help. Although many cats are known for their independence, some breeds require regular grooming to stay healthy. It was later discovered that Hidey’s owner was living with Alzheimer’s disease, which made it hard for them to keep up with her grooming needs. Thanks to the shelter’s medical team, Hidey received a full grooming and was finally free of her tangled fur. She has since been welcomed into a new home with a loving family member.
