American Pickers star Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were involved in a serious car accident while driving through Columbia, Tennessee, on September 12. Wolfe shared photos of his badly damaged vintage car on Instagram, revealing that both he and Cline had been hospitalized.

“By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay,” Wolfe wrote, adding that while he was recovering, Cline remained in the hospital but was expected to make a full recovery. He thanked fans for their prayers and asked for privacy during the difficult time. Later that night, Wolfe updated followers again: “It’s been a rough nite but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe in the power of group prayers.”

Cline also posted about her injuries, which included a broken jaw in several places, broken ribs, a fractured sternum, a collapsed lung, spinal swelling, and other trauma. “My mouth will be wired shut but I still got my brain and that’s all that matters,” she wrote.

Earlier this year, Wolfe surprised fans by closing his Nashville store after 15 years, saying he wanted a slower pace of life in his home state of Iowa. “This isn’t goodbye—it’s just a new rhythm,” he explained.
